French Quarter is a unique dining experience on the island since it is Cozumel’s only authentic Cajun style restaurant.  It features traditionally prepared cajun food that was born on the bayou and raised in the backwoods and on the front porches of South Louisiana.  Guests can enjoy wonderful home-style Cajun cooking from cherished family recipes dating back to the early 1900s.  Mike’s roots are centered in the heart of Cajun country and his menu has something for everyone including prime angus steaks, seafood and baby back ribs.  The daily specials vary, depending on what is fresh and in season.

Rain or shine, guests can enjoy open air dining under the canopied outdoor terrace which is filled with lush tropical greenery.  There is also a casually elegant, air conditioned dining room available for those preferring to dine indoors.  With comfortable seating arrangements and modular tables, both areas are perfect for either group dining or cozy, intimate evenings.

To compliment dining, French Quarter has a full bar and lounge area complete with specialty drinks in the downstairs area where patrons can relax and enjoy exotic cocktails or the wide selection of fine quality cognacs and liqueurs. Many of the specialty drinks offered have a non-alcoholic counterpart for guests not wishing to partake. With its casual, neighborhood bar ambiance the bar is a favorite among the local crowd who know and frequent the best Cozumel bars.
